About & Contact

Hi I’m Aditya. Thank you for visiting my blog. This is the larger bit of my online expression, the shorter bit being Twitter. Both of these are my own expressions which very clearly are not the expressions of the organizations that I’m associated with.

My professional details are on my Linkedin Profile. My Twitter handle is @adityamishra. I can be reached on aditya AT adityamishra.in.

My Work

I work at a large IT Services company in Mumbai. However my past work has largely been in the areas of entrepreneurship and investments. Now I’m learning the ropes of IT Solutions in Indian Banking.

I’m also a co-founder of Headstart Network Foundation where I currently serve as a Director as well. Headstart is a not for profit company dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship. Headstart’s most noticeable activities are Headstart; which is a bi-annual event for innovators, technologists and early adopters, and Startup Saturdays; monthly city specific events which provide entrepreneurs in each city with a monthly community driven forum that is structured in agenda but open in discussions.

I’ve been very active with various BarCamps in India; most actively with BarCamps Bangalore and Mumbai where I was part of the unorganisers. After having attended/organised well over 10 BarCamps, I’ve taken a break.

I enjoy combining the technology and business perspectives. Mobile and Internet are two areas that I’ve come to understand a bit more than others However, my exposure has ranged from BPO/IT Services to High Performance Computing to embedded systems to enterprise software to Fabs to CleanTech.

My Interests

I love meeting people and look forward to engaging conversations. I love food and that shows in part in the blog. I’m interested in entrepreneurship as a subject and as a practice.

I’m figuring out my way to a full marathon and have also picked up cycling recently.

I still nurture an old interest in finance and economics. Strategy, business models and their internal consistency is another theme that interests me.
